Released in 1997 by GT Interactive, Total Annihilation is a Sci-Fi RTS for Windows 95 and Mac OS. You are the Commander, thrown into the war-torn galaxy, where rebels try to attain justice and the Government is forcing everyone to become robots. You must find resources, build bases and units, gather intelligence and conduct your battles as you play against the computer in a story campaign.

The game was highly praised, with Metacritic giving it 86% and received multiple awards such as Game of the Year, Best Strategy Game of 1997 and top prize in Top Ten Real-Time Strategy Games of All Time by GameSpy (2004).
