Released in 1996 by ID Software, Quake is a gothic fiction 3D FPS game, originally for MS DOS, Windows 95 and Linux. The player takes control of a soldier, who fights against a mysterious force codenamed Quake in multiple universes, connected by slipgater, inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's books. This version comes with two official expansions: Scourge of Armagon and Dissolution of Eternity.
