INSTRUCTION: Launching "Heroes of Might and Magic III" in a Browser

Below are 3 steps to launch "Heroes" using the cross-platform VCMI engine.

1. Download the game data to your computer or phone.
   The data can be found in open sources:

   • Archive.org: Go to this link https://archive.org/download/data_20241222/Data.zip and download Data.zip.

   • Torrent: Download the torrent file from https://archive.org/download/data_20241222/data_20241222_archive.torrent and use a torrent client to download Data.zip.

2. Extract the Data.zip file.
   After downloading the file, extract it to a location you can easily find later to obtain the 6 files required for the game.

3. Launch the game.
   In the data selection window, choose:

   • Option 1) "Installed game (select directory)"

   • Click the "Browse..." button and select the 6 files or the folder containing them (depending on how file selection is arranged on your device).

   • Alternatively, you can try dragging the folder onto the "Browse" button.
